About the Project

Nimble Sci is a HealthTech startup based in Toronto, Canada, developing a digital platform to analyze and simulate gut microbiome responses. They had previously engaged an agency to build their MVP, but the results were disastrous — buggy systems, missed milestones, and a mounting investor deadline. They turned to No Bull Code to rescue their MVP within just a few weeks.

Our engagement included rapid audit, backend rebuild, data migration, and stabilization, allowing the client to confidently relaunch and secure their next round of funding.

Challenge Faced

Nimble Sci had invested $45,000 with a previous vendor, expecting a functional MVP. Instead, they received an unstable application with a fragile backend, incomplete features, and major performance issues. Investor deadlines were closing in fast — and the founder needed an engineering team that could deliver fast, clean, and confidently.

Solution Provided

We deployed 2 full-stack developers and 1 QA engineer to work in weekly sprints. The original backend was scrapped and rewritten using scalable, modular architecture. Daily bug sweeps, clean deployment processes, and active client check-ins ensured we stayed aligned and efficient. By Day 15, a working MVP was demo-ready.
